Information about the host The holiday flat is situated in a quiet location between Hohenaschau Castle and the Kampenwand, offering a wonderful view of the forest and mountains. It forms part of a very well-maintained house built in the traditional Bavarian style, with timber-clad balconies. Families with children will enjoy a small playground right next to the house, as well as a quiet cul-de-sac with a child-friendly atmosphere. Numerous walking trails lead directly from the house to the most beautiful vantage points in the Chiemgau Alps. Cyclists and mountain bikers will find varied routes through the impressive mountain and lake landscape. In winter, ski slopes, cross-country trails and winter walking routes invite you to enjoy sporting activities in the great outdoors. The valley station of the Kampenwand cable car, Hohenaschau Castle with its famous falconry, the bus stop and various pubs and restaurants are all within a few minutes’ walk. terms/extras tourism tax / plus tourism tax The prices quoted are exclusive of tourism tax, which is €2.00 per person/night. Ch. directly to your host. Arrival Description By car: A8 motorway Munich/Salzburg – take the Aschau/Frasdorf or Bernau exit, then turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn. Coming from Frasdorf: drive past the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., continue straight on along Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station; at the roundabout, take the exit towards the Kampenwand cable car, follow the road for approx. 2 km through the village, past the Baumbach inn, then turn left after about 50 metres onto the street “Am Hofbichl”, take the second left, house number 9. Description of the accommodation Very comfortably furnished, spacious, quiet non-smoking holiday flat, 75 sqm on the 2nd floor. Beautiful east-facing balcony with morning sun and view of the forest and mountains. Two separate, bright bedrooms, one with access to the balcony. One bedroom has a double bed, the other has two beds that can either be made into a double bed or two single beds. The bright bathroom has a window and is equipped with a shower, bathtub and hairdryer. In the living room, in addition to an HD TV, there are two sofas that can also be pulled out for sleeping. The spacious living room invites you to linger even in bad weather. The windows provide plenty of light. There are plenty of games and books. From the living room you can also access the balcony, which is equipped with cosy balcony furniture and a parasol. Next to it is a spacious corner bench with a large extendable dining table that comfortably seats 6 - 8 people. The open kitchen is very well equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, large fridge with freezer compartment, coffee maker, toaster, etc.. There is a washing machine in the large laundry room. Baby cot and cot can be provided on request.
